Why a meal plan prepared by a dietary advisor is often wrong?

On April 15, 2017 by Urfus

I have nothing against nutrition and dietary advisors, but they are often wrong with the kind of food they recommend you eat. Why? Because the meal plans they prepare are based on 2 wrong assumptions.

Two wrong assumptions of dietary advisors

1) They assume that everybody has a digestive system capable of high absorption of nutrients contained in food

  • fact:
    • deteoriation of digestive system starts in most people after they reach 30 years of age and progressively worsens later on
    • enzymes and co-enzymes production is falling, functioning of individual components of digestive system (organs/glands) is also becoming lower
  • remedy:
    • eating blended food helps body maximize absorption of nutrients contained in food (good examples: baby food, smoothies, minced meat paté)
    • food that was previously dried or frozen is also the one that is better absorbed (good example: sachet soups, frozen fruit)
    • food which has been designed for top-athletes is also highly absorbable

2) They assume that the digestive system of an individual never alters the nutritional value of the food/supplements/medicine

  • fact:
    • digestive system is not always able to produce all types of digestive enzymes with proper chemical formula
      • at the end this results in: digestive system lowering nutritional value of food and in some cases it may even make the food unhealthy
      • it doesn’t matter what science & research say about nutritional value of food, it does matter how your digestive system processes it
  • remedy:
    • one of the layers of human skin is able to absorb nutrients. If the food/dietary supplement is in liquid state and left on the skin for at least a couple of minutes, some of its nutrients will get absorbed. Based on this principle cosmetic creams, nicotin patches, anti-inflamation ointments work.
    • as this type of absorption will bypass digestive system, nutrients won’t become altered by the digestive system and the body can fully benefit from them
    • this is also the explanation why certain pills/medicine don’t work for everybody when taken orally and why women live longer – they put something on their skin during their whole life

How to create a perfect meal plan that is optimized for your body?

You should definitely focus on these 3 things:

  1. have a food allergy test
    • with most people certain foods create strong reactions in their immune systems, so ask your doctor to perform a food allergy test
    • it is important to get familiar with foods that trigger food allergic reactions in you so that you can avoid them
  2. have your food intolerance tested
    • unlike food allergy, food intolerance symptoms usually come to surface after 2-3 days of eating certain food
    • symptoms are sometime barely visible, sometimes they contribute to weight gain, sometimes to headache, rash
    • it is important to get familiar with foods trigerring food intolerance in you, ask your doctor to do a food intolerance test for you
    • there are also food intolerance tests available on the market as home kits allowing you to do the test by yourself at home (they are evaluating presence of certain antibodies in your blood)
  3. learn how to muscle test
    • every morning do a muscle test to find out which food and beverages you should eat/drink during the day (what for breakfast, lunch, dinner and in the time between the main meals)
    • your body knows best what you should or shouldn’t eat to ensure your cells get enough nutrients
    • attend either kinesiology course to learn how to do muscle testing OR learn how to dowse with pendulum (find out more in an article I posted about this topic).
